If you talk about the current names who run WWE, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will always be at the top. Both men have established themselves as the workhorses of the company for over a decade. However, during their rookie days, Reigns and Rollins became a topic of disagreement between Triple H and Vince McMahon. Not just that, both current top superstars almost dodged a serious punishment for their conduct backstage.
The incident took place during the summer of 2013 when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns held the tag team titles and Dean Ambrose was the US Champion. However, despite being in the title picture, both men became the reason for their higher-ups getting into conflict backstage.
HHH and Mr. McMahon argued over the push of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins
Back in 2013, although Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were new on the main roster, that didn’t keep them away from bumping heads with veterans.
As far as Rollins goes, The Visionary was blamed for getting into an argument with The Big Show. And about Roman Reigns, the current Undisputed Champion was accused of having a verbal brawl with Randy Orton.
In 2013, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had a tag team match with Randy Orton and his partner in a house show. During the match, Reigns and Orton had a spot which both ended up botching. Eventually, both men do into a heated argument backstage.
Well known for not tolerating such actions, ex-WWE CEO Vince McMahon decided to punish the duo. However, he was then talked into by Triple H, who advocated the investment WWE had made in them.

At last, things were resolved and the heat was over after Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns gave an excellent match against The Usos. Though the backstage conduct and the aftermath end up making headlines for a while that year.
Both Shield Members are currently running two separate brands of WWE
In less than a decade, Seth and Reigns have become the most valuable superstars in this era of WWE. While Roman Reign, who currently holds the championships of both brands, is leading the SmackDown locker room, Seth Rollins is the top name on RAW. I
n today’s WWE, one can hardly imagine anything happening without the involvement of The Shield brothers. Though they rarely appear together as a team now.
Nevertheless, if it wasn’t for Triple H, who sorted out things with Vince McMahon, things could have gotten worse. And considering how the former WWE Chairman used to punish, the name Shield might have had a different value today.
However, all’s well that ends well, and for Reigns and Rollins, things went better than well.
