2022 is coming to a close which means all eyes are now on Royal Rumble. The January Pay Per View is also when the Road to WrestleMania officially begins. For a lot of fans, this is similar to a season finale. This is the moment that the WWE shows build to all through the year and why wouldn’t they? It is after all the single biggest wrestling event of the year. Makes sense that Triple H already has all the top matches for the card already planned so they can meticulously tell the story to make the two nights mean even more than they already do.

The two biggest nights in professional wrestling are still a way away. As it is every year, fans have already started fantasy booking their favorite wrestlers and are predicting what their storylines will be, come the Show of Shows on April 1st, 2023.
Triple H has already decided all the top matches for WrestleMania 39
This is the first WrestleMania under Triple H, and the Head of Creative is making sure he remains on top of his work. According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, the Game has already laid out the plans for the match card and unlike how it was with Vince McMahon, the card will not change barring injuries.
“Paul “Triple H” Levesque has all of the top matches laid out and things could have changed “a billion times” under Vince McMahon but people in the company are not seeing the scripts being ripped up like before and chances are that, barring an injury, the current WrestleMania plans will not change,” The report read.
Vince McMahon used to book WrestleMania’s in advance
Before he became the script tearing, micromanaging boss, Vince McMahon used to have his WrestleMania matches planned in advance. One example is Kane vs Undertaker.
The Devil’s favorite Demon made his first WWE appearance at Badd Blood: In Your House on October 5, 1997.
The WWE planted the seeds for this feud, 6 months before they faced each other for the first time at The Grandest Stage of all.
Several formal wrestlers have mentioned that the major matches were all planned months in advance. Vince has shown that he was still capable of booking stories long term. However, they became far and fewer as the years went by.
What Triple H is doing now is reminiscent of Vince McMahon’s time as the booker who took the WWE to great heights, and honestly, it is a refreshing change.
