Triple H World Heavyweight Championship

The WWE let go of several talents before Vince McMahon stepped down from his position as CEO, Chairman and Head of Creative. Triple H went on to bring back several of them and has since made them a regular part of WWE’s programming. With Vince McMahon back in the fold, there is a fear among many regarding the on-screen product and how it will impact the talent and storylines. Reports claim that Triple H addressed this with the talent and assured them that he is still in charge of creative. However, even The Game conceded that anything could happen in the future.

This means that it is very possible for Vince McMahon to take over from Triple H and lead the creative. But in the scenario that it does happen, what would that mean for all the talent Triple H rehired? Well, the answer to that question appears to be rather grim.

Vince McMahon is expected to fire wrestlers that were brought back by Triple H if he takes control of creative

Dave Scherer of PW Insider, was asked the consequence of Vince McMahon reclaiming creative control of WWE. When asked how that would affect the talent Vince McMahon saw no value in before his resignation, the answer was that nothing would change, and they still would hold no value to the WWE Chairman.

“IF, he does, and I will say IF because I don’t want to assume he will take over creative since it would really hurt my enjoyment of the company, yes everyone who he saw nothing in before he probably won’t see anything in at that time.”

Triple H has brought back several high profile names since taking over WWE’s creative, such as Karrion Kross, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. Fans believe that the new Head of creative will do a better job with them than Vince McMahon. However, with the way things are going, it’s hard to say anything anymore.

Has the WWE been sold?

Vince McMahon returned to the WWE to facilitate a sale of the company. He used his position as the controlling stockholder to necessitate his presence in the dealing, thereby opening the door for his return.

All kinds of rumors have since made their way to the public. The one that shocked fans the most was WWE being sold to Saudi Arabia through their Public Investment Fund. However, that was soon debunked with notable journalist Ariel Helwani making it known that the WWE was yet to make any commitment to the middle eastern country.

It is believed that the company will be sold by mid-summer and more names have since emerged such as Disney and even Tony Khan and his father.
