Vince McMahon WrestleMania 39 Night 1

Vince McMahon seems unfazed by the new demands from his alleged victims. Earlier this year saw an abrupt end to Vince McMahon’s career as the CEO of WWE after he was forced into retirement followed by a series of sexual misconduct allegations against him. According to the reports from June, McMahon paid multiple women millions of dollars in hush money to sweep his sexual affairs under the rug. According to the new report from WSJ, not only is Vince scuffling with yet another lawsuit for millions of dollars but also reportedly looking to return to power in WWE.

Since his absence, WWE has surprisingly reached new milestones and done better than ever with the new leadership with Stephanie Mcmahon, Nick Khan, and Triple H at the helm. As reported by Fightful Select, the idea of Vince McMahon’s potential return is met with a dingy response from the employees of WWE.

However, Vince still has his supporters as a certain WWE Hall of Famer is happy to learn about Vince McMahon’s return.

Ric Flair believes Vince McMahon deserves to make his comeback

It’s no secret that Vince McMahon made a lot of enemies during his four-decade-long career as the CEO of WWE. On the other hand, it is also conspicuous that a handful of people backstage share a healthy relationship with the former CEO of WWE.

Speaking on his podcast To Be The Man, Ric Flair weighed in on the possible return of Vince McMahon. Ric Flair had nothing but positive things to say about his former boss.

According to Naitch, Vince McMahon deserves to make his comeback before anybody as he built WWE from the ground up. Flair even criticized those who do not want him back.

“Well, you will not be seeing a single negative word out of me. I love Vince McMahon. I mean it. And I think that he should; he is entitled to whatever he wants. I’m telling you, shame on the people that do not believe so. He built it. Nobody else built it. Nobody helped him. He fought every war.” Said Flair.

It’s a well-known fact that Ric Flair and McMahon go way back and that for many years, a part of Flair’s success in wrestling is attributed to the love and support from Vince McMahon. Although the reports say that McMahon has expressed his desire to return, it remains to be seen if McMahon returns and reclaims his position as the head honcho of WWE.

Ric Flair says disgraced former WWE Chairman reinstated him in WWE’s intro

Ric Flair has had a rather turbulent relationship with WWE in the past following the outrage that the notorious “Plane Ride From Hell” caused. The documentary put marred Flair’s reputation as he was accused of sexually harassing a flight attendant on a plane in 2002 during WWE’s tour to Europe.

After the documentary aired, WWE removed Flair from its signature Then. Now. Forever. Together intro. In addition to that, Flair even filed a lawsuit against WWE for giving away his nickname “The Man” to the female talent, Becky Lynch.

Further in his podcast, Flair stated that Vince McMahon went to lengths to bring Flair back in their signature intro. Flair read out the message he received from McMahon that confirmed his reinstatement in the opening intro of WWE.

“I want to read this in closing, because you brought up Vince McMahon. ‘Hey, Ric,’ this is July 4th. Hey, ‘Ric, as of tonight’s Raw, you’re back in the opening of our TV shows. You’re going to be so proud of your documentary. I always keep my word. Happy Fourth. Vince McMahon.’
