YOR vs NOT Dream11 Team

For Notts Outlaws, the Vitality Blast couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start. Taking on against reigning champions Worcestershire Rapids in their opening match of the exhibition league, Notts Outlaws were outplayed in all departments of the game to be put down with ease by 28 runs.

At the end of the match, Notts Outlaws had no one but themselves to blame for the result. They failed to capitalise on the strong positions they found themselves in at several times, squandering the incentive at crucial junctures to be drubbed in the end. Despite having the Rapids at 102-5 while bowling first, the Outlaws allowed them to pile on a hefty 161, one their batsmen were never able to navigate around.

Restricted for 133-9 in the end, the Outlaws will be turning to their second match to comeback from that disappointing result today. They know things aren’t going to be easy though with no time to take a look at their mistakes and work on them in what is an extremely arduous Vitality Blast schedule.

What adds to the stringent nature of their encounter is the fact that the identity of their opposition is of a team revered for their squad. Pummelling Somerset recently in the County Championship Division 2 by an innings and 73 runs, Yorkshire will be looking to carry the same momentum into this tournament as they look to quickly familiarise themselves with the T20 format.

 Probable Winner

Despite putting in a shambles of a display in the end, Notts Outlaws will have plenty of moments to take heart from, from their match against the Rapids. They managed to trouble a solid batting line-up immensely, picking up wickets at regular intervals to find themselves holding the upper hand at one point of time.

It’s exactly that bowling performance which they’ll be looking to emulate today as well when they take on a side whose batting depth is talked about in the same breath as the best in the world. For us, Yorkshire should win this one courtesy of that and herald the Outlaws to their second defeat of the league.

Wicket-Keeper for YOR vs NOT Dream11

We have gone ahead with West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran for this one. One of their international player and star performer, the wicket-keeper should in the IPL and CWC that he is more than capable at crafting incredible innings.

Batters for YOR vs NOT Dream11

After his half-century, Alex Hales walks into our side with any doubts. The only innings of worth in an otherwise dismal batting display, he waged a lone battle from one end despite losing continuous partners at the other. We have also included Jake Libby for his know how of the game and his willingness to apply himself in the middle.

For Yorkshire we have Gary Ballance, Tom Kohler Cadmore and Harry Brook all find a place in our side. Harry Brook is someone we see taking apart the Outlaws’ bowling unit in the culminating overs owing to his ability to hit the ball cleanly to the stands.

All-Rounders for YOR vs NOT Dream11

Samit Patel from Notts Outlaws is opted by us once again after his picked up two wickets against the Rapids. He’s bound to be amongst the wickets once again with his brand of bowling one which is bound to serve fruitfully in the shortest format of the game.

Meanwhile from Yorkshire Vikings its Keshav Maharaj who comes in for us. In the absence of Adil Rashid who won’t be available till 25th July, the side will turn to him to hold fort in the spinning department and we see him getting a good haul of wickets today.

Bowling Order for YOR vs NOT Dream11

While the batting made for horrid viewing from Notts Outlaws, the bowlers, especially with the new ball impressed massively. And at the forefront of that display was frontline pacer Harry Gurney who got the new ball to hit the money areas and continually pepper the Rapids with some treacherous deliverers.

Elsewhere both Matt Fisher and Duanne Olivier make an entry into our side from Yorkshire after the Outlaws lacklustre showing with the bat in their league opener.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Alex Hales has been made our captain while he have gone ahead with Maharaj as the vice-captain’s pick.
