Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was in a heated contest with Carlos Vela to be the divisions number one striker, also scored a goal to take his tally to 31 goals in 31 games. However, with Vela’s score at 36 with a game to spare, the contest is well and over now.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made his displeasures with the league very well known. In fact, it has been speculated that the Swede striker may leave the MLS after his contract is up this season. Which means that his appearance in the MLS last night was very likely his last.
However, this is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Sentiments have very little role in how he conducts himself. In what will probably his last gesture in the MLS, Zlatan has very possibly left the MLS with a hilarious act; One that is a testament of how he has often played the game; without regards of what others think of him.

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic left the pitch after the disappointing loss, he was heckled by opposing fans. They seemed to have gotten under his skin. Zlatan responded in a rather crude manner by Grabbing his crotch in the fan’s direction.

The Ex PSG and Manchester United superstar has been rumoured to make a return to Europe; more specifically, Italy. Zlatan has himself spoken of the fond memories he has of the country. Meanwhile, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has dropped a major hint that he is keen to bring Ibrahimovic to the San Paolo.
“[Ibrahimovic] is a friend, I met him in Los Angeles not as a footballer but as a normal person because we were in the same hotel,” he told Sky Sports.
“I invited him over for dinner with his wife and kids and we had an amazing time.
“It would be my wish to see him in Napoli colours. It’s more than a suggestion and it depends on him.
“It’s been talked about for a few months now.”
