After Final win, Dhoni and Bravo take on each other in a race

CSK and SRH will clash in the finals of IPL 2018 and here are 3 CSK players who can prove to be game changers.

CSK have taken IPL 2018 by storm. When their campaign began, they were not even considered one of the favourites to qualify for the playoffs. As it turned out, they not only qualified with flying colours but also stormed into the finals.

CSK took the shortest road to the finals, defeating SRH in the Qualifier 1. However, SRH came right back on track after beating KKR in the Qualifier 2. The Kane Williamson led team is now set to lock horns against Chennai Super Kings in the finals of IPL 2018 to be played in the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

Although cricket is a team game and all of the XI players have to contribute as a team for the side to taste success, some players have a knack of contributing more than the others.

These stand out from the team and have a talismanic streak for big matches. Here are 3 such CSK players who can be game changers in the Final against SRH:

MS Dhoni

CSK Captain MS Dhoni has led the team’s campaign beautifully. When the IPL began, all 8 teams possessed talented individuals. It was always about putting your best foot forward, playing as a gelled unit and marshalling your troops better. The one who could do that would end up at the apex.

With the league coming close to its conclusion, we can see for ourselves. The two top teams that will clash against each other in the finals are both led by world class Captains in Kane Williamson and MS Dhoni.

Dhoni has not only done wonders with the bat, he has shuffled with his bowlers quite ingeniously. Many-a-times he has taken CSK out of tough situations and this is what has helped to build up a terrific team culture.

Ambati Rayudu

Ambati Rayudu has been the highest scoring batsman for CSK this season. He has batted both in the middle order and at the top. Despite frequent shuffles in the batting order, Rayudu has remained unflustered and has delivered for the team.

In 15 matches, Rayudu has scored 586 runs at an average of more than 40. He has also notched up a century. On the back of his consistent performances, he even broke through in the Indian ODI squad touring England.

Lungi Ngidi

Lungi Ngidi ended as the Man of the Match with dream figures of 4-10-4 against Kings XI Punjab in Pune. Dhoni has entrusted a lot of faith in the South African bowler and he has gradually become Chennai’s lead pacer. From the time that he has returned from his father’s funeral, he has hit his straps running.

In the last match as well, the South African pacer put the lid on the SRH batting. Ngidi can be a valuable asset at the death also.
