4 ways Chelsea could lineup with the new incoming players as Chelsea has caused a rampage in the name of a squad overhaul.
Chelsea is probably having the best transfer window in a long time with near to perfect prospects signing up for them, but will they be successful that is upon Frank Lampard’s tactics and time to decide.
Malang Sarr has been offered to Chelsea, as reported by Téléfoot.
It’s not a done deal – Chelsea are considering him as another ‘free agent’ opportunity after Thiago Silva (done deal).
Sarr would like to join but he has also other bids, the board will decide with Lampard 🔵 #CFC— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) August 24, 2020
But so far, Chelsea has managed to sign Timo Werner and near to welcome Kai Havertz and Thiago Silva. On the other hand, they have reportedly managed to convince Leicester City to give Ben Chilwell for around £50million.
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech is also among the new entrants in the squad, though the agreement to sign him was reached in January. There is no doubt that Chelsea has a fierce attack.
A fluid midfield and now a decent defence (which they lacked) with the arrival of Silva and potential hiring of Chilwell. Thus, it wouldn’t wrong to predict a top 3 finish for Chelsea this season with such resources.
Despite the squad being an impressive unit, Liverpool and Manchester City are still slightly better and since new Chelsea players have a little experience together and in Premier League (except Chilwell), a top 3 finish is realistic.
But before the new Chelsea team lines up in September, let’s analyze the 4 ways in which Chelsea could lineup during next season.
