Rohit Sharma comes up with a hilarious advice for the Pakistani batsmen after their dismal show during the Ind vs Pak World Cup match

Rohit Sharma completely destroyed the potent Pakistan bowling attack on Sunday at the Old Trafford, in Manchester. He brought the best out of him with a scintillating knock of 140 off just 116 deliveries and rightly received the ‘Man of the match’ award, as he was instrumental in Pakistan’s 7th consecutive defeat in World Cup matches against their arch-rivals India.

He has been in prime form off-late with consecutive scores of 50+ in the last five innings in Indian colours. But, Rohit does not only excel with his on-ground exploits, but also makes sure that he saves them for some off the field action as well.

What was Rohit’s hilarious comment?

After being adjudged ‘Man of the match’ in India’s 89-run victory against Pakistan, Rohit Sharma addressed a Press Conference post the match.

One of the Pakistani journalist, acknowledging the woes of the Pakistani batting line-up, asked the ‘Hitman’ for his tips or advises he would like to give them for their struggle so far in the ongoing 2019 World Cup.

The 32-year-old was quick to bring out the funnier side of himself, or perhaps did not wish to boast of the good run of form he is experiencing off-late. He thus replied that he’d agreed to give the advice only if he becomes Pakistan Team’s coach in the future.

“Agar mai Pakistan ka coach kabhi bana to bataunga, abhi kya bataun” (I’ll tell them if I ever become the coach of Pakistan), Rohit replied to the question.

India did not miss the services of the injured Shikhar Dhawan, as KL Rahul (57 off 78) batted superbly alongside Rohit in the 136-run opening stand. However, another cause of worry stemmed-up when Bhuvaneshwar Kumar injured his hamstring, and as per Virat Kohli is set to miss the upcoming 2-3 matches of the World Cup.

India will lock horns against Afghanistan on June 22 next at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.
