RCB vs CSK Dream 11 team Prediction: IPL Dream11 Fantasy Tips for RCB vs CSK as The SportsRush helps you form the best Dream 11 team

After that unfortunate opening game of the season, these two sides face off once again in IPL 2019, this time at Bangalore and on a surface that should be good for T20 cricket.

The RCB batting unit thrives on surfaces that aid stroke making and hence should be able to flourish on that ‘Chinnaswamy road’. CSK on the other hand flourish as a unit on surfaces that are a little sluggish.

Conditions thus should be in favour of RCB and momentum too, as they coming off a brilliant win in Kolkata and CSK are coming off a humbling loss against SRH in the last game.

MS Dhoni was absent in the last game and his absence was certainly felt, as the CSK bowlers were clueless when the batsmen were going after them. The CSK legend should be back for Sunday evening’s game and could also go bonkers on that small little ground in Bangalore.

Let’s get to business now.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicketkeeper for RCB vs CSK Dream 11

For the wicketkeeping slot, I would get in Parthiv Patel over MS Dhoni, especially if RCB bat first, as MS Dhoni will now slot into that number 5 position, ever since Faf du Plessis has returned to the top of the order. With Rayudu batting at number 4, Dhoni could too few balls to face and thus I can’t really know how many balls Dhoni would get to face. Thus, I go in with Parthiv for this game.

Bowlers for RCB vs CSK Dream 11

The Chinnaswamy can be a nightmare for the bowlers and hence I would be getting in only 3 and those too would be budget picks.

Navdeep Saini would be my first pick. He has been the most impressive RCB fast bowler this season, despite playing most of the games in Bangalore. His pace has hurried the batsmen and he is also trusted with a couple of overs at the death. Coming in at just 8 cr, I have enough reasons to get him in.

Dale Steyn showed everyone why he was once the greatest bowler in the world. His bowling brought about an instant change in that RCB setup and he could do more of that on Sunday against CSK as well. Get him in.

Deepak Chahar has been highly impressive for CSK this season, picking up early wickets. The only time the batsmen could probably be a little circumspect at the Chinnaswamy is during the initial few overs when the ball could do a little, especially if Chahar is delivering them. On current form and the price that he comes in at, I get Chahar in.

All-Rounders for RCB vs CSK Dream 11

Moeen Ali’s exploits in the last game make him my first all-rounder pick for this game. Playing in the middle order, I expect him to once more tee off as both Imran Tahir and Jaddu would be turning the ball into him. Also, he could maybe pick up a wicket or two with his off spin.

For the second all-rounder pick, I go in with Stoinis ahead of Jaddu, primarily because of he batting higher up in the batting order than Ravindra Jadeja. Als0, Jaddu’s primary suit is his bowling and at the Chinnawamy it would be wise to draft in batting all-rounders.

Batsmen for RCB vs CSK Dream 11

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will be the first two batsmen that I draft into my team. Kohli showed his brilliance with the bat in the last game, scoring a brilliant 100 and helping his team score a total that was out of even Andre Russsel’s reach. Get him in for sure.

AB de Villiers has been brilliant for RCB this season, delivering even when Kohli has failed. On a flat track you just can’t leave him out. But if he doesn’t play because of his mild concussion; I would get in Kedar Jadhav. From the bowling department I would leave out Chahar and get in Tahir.

I have always invested in top 4 batsmen, especially when it comes to T20s and I would be doing no different here. Faf du Plessis has bene in good form for CSK ever since he has been drafted into the XI. Suresh Raina has gotten off to starts in every game, timing the ball brilliantly and he could really explode on that flat pitch at the Chinnaswamy. Get these two in-form players in.

Now, Shane Watson has been off colour this season, but when I have 9.5 cr to spare, I would want to cover all my bases with respect to the batsmen from both teams. Shane Watson opens the batting for CSK and has a good chance of going bonkers against that relatively fragile RCB bowling unit. If it’s his day, he could shower you Dream 11 fantasy points.

Captain: Virat Kohli(if RCB bat second)/AB de Villiers(if RCB bat first)

Vice-Captain: Virat Kohli(if RCB bat first)/AB de Villiers(if RCB bat second)
