The Undertaker: The Phenom makes a surprise return on Raw to save Roman Reigns from the beatdown he received at the hands of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

The WWE had earlier announced that Roman Reigns would take on both Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a handicap match. Shane made a little tweak to their match just before they went head to head. The pair of Shane and Drew would now face Roman simultaneously.

Roman battled with gusto in the beginning and took the fight to the McMahon scion and the Scottish Psychopath. However, the numbers game caught up to the big dog and the two overpowered Reigns.

Roman was hit with 2 claymore kicks and one spear. But instead of pinning him and finishing the match, Shane decided to compound his misery with a coast to coast. Shane climbed the turnbuckle to deliver the move and McIntyre grabbed Reigns to keep him from moving.

It was looking bleak for the big dog until the legendary gong rung and the entire arena screamed in unison. The Light’s went out and sure enough, it returned with the Undertaker.

The phenom choke slammed Shane McMahon before landing a big boot on Drew. He then launched an all-out attack against McIntyre before tossing them both out of the ring.

The two stood outside staring at him like they’d seen a ghost as The Undertaker struck his pose to the cheers of a surprised crowd. Could this be leading to another tag team match at Extreme Rules? Perhaps.

With WWE getting too much flak in the last few years for being very predictable, this was definitely an appearance no one saw coming. Huge props to them for pulling this well.
