Team India New Head Coach: The new Head Coach of the Indian cricket team will be announced in another hour or so.
The hype regarding the new coach of the Indian cricket team will come to an end today as the announcement will be made during a press conference in another hour or so. Given the build-up to the selection process, bountiful fans of the Indian team will come to know as to who will be handed the reigns of the team.
It is worth mentioning that one out of current coach Ravi Shastri, former New Zealand and Kings XI Punjab coach Mike Hesson, former Sri Lanka and Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody, former India fielding coach Robin Singh and former India manager and Afghanistan coach Lalchand Rajput.

Team India New Head Coach
While there is a lot being said about the selection of the coach, it is worth mentioning that the duration of the coach’s contract will be for a two-year period. Starting from South Africa’s tour of India next month, the new coach will remain at the helm till the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2020.
“The head coach will be at the helm of affairs till the 2021 World T20 and after that it will be a process of re-appointment or selection of a new coach as has been the trend in recent years.

“The support staff will also be handed contracts till the World T20 as continuity is very important considering the big ticket events that are lined up over the next couple of years,” a BCCI functionary was quoted as saying to IANS.
