Weather in Vizag: What is the rain forecast for Day 2 of India vs South Africa Test in Visakhapatnam?

Weather in Vizag: The Sports Rush present before you the weather prediction for the first Test between India and South Africa.

During the first day of the first Test of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of India in Visakhapatnam, rain played spoilsport after the Indian openers got their team off to a brilliant start.

After India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat, Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma posted 202/0 in 59.1 overs. It was just before tea on Day 1 that bad light affected play today. Heavy rain which followed soon forced the umpires to abandon play for the day.

Sharma, who opened the innings for the first time in Test matches, scored his fourth Test century to justify his promotion at the top of the order.

Weather in Vizag

As far as the weather for tomorrow is concerned, play is likely to be interrupted especially in the first session. After rain pouring down in patches in the morning, the rest of the day is expected to be partly cloudy. Having said that, rain is unlikely to affect the rest of the day’s play.

While there will be a rain forecast of 79% in the morning, it will drop down as the day progresses. As far as the temperature is concerned, it will remain in between 30 degrees to 26 degrees tomorrow.

Apart from Sharma, Agarwal also scored an impressive 84* (183) with the help of 11 fours and a couple of sixes. The 27-year old batsman would also be looking to reach the three-figure mark for the first time in Test cricket.
