WATCH: Ben Dunk and Nathan Coulter-Nile join hands to grab exceptional catch to dismiss Shaun Marsh in BBL 2019
Ben Dunk and Nathan Coulter-Nile join hands: The Stars’ pair put on display an exceptional fielding effort to dismiss the Renegades’ batsman.
During the 19th match of the ongoing ninth season of the Big Bash League between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades in Melbourne, Melbourne Stars pair of Ben Dunk and Nathan Coulter-Nile joined hands to grab an outstanding catch to dismiss Melbourne Renegades batsman Shaun Marsh.
It all happened on the third delivery of the 15th over when Marsh pulled a googly from Stars spinner Sandeep Lamichhane in between long-on and deep mid-wicket.
Dunk, who was fielding at long-on, ran to his left to catch the ball while being airborne and just before jumping past the boundary rope. However, his awareness saw him throwing the ball back just in time to Coulter-Nile who was running to his right from deep mid-wicket.
After Stars captain Glenn Maxwell won the toss and chose to field, Renegades scored a mediocre 142/9 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the second over, Marsh top-scored for Renegades with his 43 (33) with the help of three fours and a six.
With bowling figures of 4-0-26-3, Lamichhane was the highest wicket-taker for the Stars. Other than Lamichhane, spinner Adam Zampa and veteran fast bowler Dale Steyn also picked up a couple of wickets.

Ben Dunk’s effort to remove Shaun Marsh has completely turned this #bbl09 derby.
Renegades were 2-117 off 14.2 and lost 7-25 off 5.4.
Stars take all momentum into innings break and hammer 0-42 in 3 overs.
