IPL 2017 Fantasy Guide: Fantasy Tips for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils
Royal Challengers Bangalore finally came to the party, riding on a blistering innings from Chris Gayle to get off that bottom spot. Gujarat Lions on the other hand slumped even further as McCullum’s heroics weren’t enough to help them cross the line against a rejuvenated RCB bowling line up.
Chris Gayle reached another milestone last night, becoming the first man in World Cricket to accumulate 10,000 runs in the T20 format(with a staggering average of 40). Now, who would have thought such an event was ever possible when the format was first invented. But the Universe Boss knew it all along.

McCullum played a feisty innings, commemorating the 10th anniversary of that staggering 158 that helped IPL announce itself to the world.
The RCB spin attack proved to be the difference in the end, as Negi and Chahal ensured that wickets kept tumbling and that the scoreboard did not giant leaps during the middle overs.
Let’s get to business now!
IPL Fantasy League
Transfer out: Basil Thampi
Transfer in: Shahbaz Nadeem/Shreyas Iyer

ABDs exclusion from last night’s game forced me to alter my strategy. I brought in Andrew Tye instead of him, as he’ll be playing twice in 4 days and got in Raina instead of Manish Pandey for similar reasons. Fantasy cricket will throw in some surprises just to check if you can respond to them, be dynamic, that’s all that’s needed.
Now, I already have David Warner, Rishab Pant, Chris Morris, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Deepak Hooda and Rashid Khan in my team for this game.
The IPL is Warner’s hunting ground and has been so ever since he was given the additional responsibility of being captain, it has made him a well rounded player.
Rishab Pant is set to become a Indian regular in the coming years. The way he picks length so early and is able to dispatch the ball to all parts of the field is a treat to watch. Morris’ late order hitting skills and death overs bowling make him in indispensable to DDs unit and to mine as well. Bhuvi is the highest wicket taker this season, chipping in with wickets upfront and at the death. Get him in, if you don’t already have him.
Rashid Khan’s quick arm action and terrific seam positioning make it really tough for the batsmen to pick which way the ball is going and thus he has been so very successful this season. Against a rather inexperienced Delhi middle order it is a must to have him.
Now, with two bowling heavy sides taking the field today, I don’t think getting in any more batsmen would make much sense today. Get Warner in if you don’t already have him, but try staying away from the others.
I won’t be making any transfers for this game, as I feel I already have all bases covered for this game.
Moises Henriques could be a good pick for this game, but as I had brought in Andrew Tye, keeping in mind that he plays again day after, I wouldn’t be bringing in Moises.
I expect Shahbaz Nadeem to be drafted into the side again and he’ll be my first choice uncapped player for this game. The highest wicket taker in the Ranji season, Nadeem has operated with panache during the powerplay overs, not letting the batsmen attack him and also chipping in with a few wickets. If he doesn’t feature, then Shreyas Iyer is the next best option.
Captain: Chris Morris(for his all round abilities)
