KXIP vs SRH Dream11 Prediction: Dream 11 Fantasy Tips for KXIP vs SRH as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream11 team.

SRH’s middle order got exposed in the previous game vs MI at home, when the top heavy SRH side couldn’t chase down 137. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow departed early and the middle order that hadn’t been tested until this game, succumbed to the pressure big time.

The MI batting performance was bolstered by a late order surge from Keiron Pollard, who took the game deep, was aided by a Rashid Khan drop and then turned the heat on with a couple of overs left.

136 on that Hyderabad track was a tricky score, but should have been chased by a batting lineup that had Bhuvi coming in at number 9.

Alzarri Joseph had a dream IPL debut for MI. Replacing the great Lasith Malinga, the West Indian had a job on his hand, especially with just 136 on the board. And he delivered big time, picking up 6 wickets for 12 runs in a dream spell.

SRH will want to get their winning momentum back as soon as possible.

KXIP are coming off a tough loss against CSK, one where their batting unit tried to take the game deep and attack the pacers on a pitch that had a lot to offer for the spinners. KL Rahul and Sarfaraz Khan have hit form and KXIP would be hoping that they can get going in Mohali on Monday.

Let’s get to business now.

KXIP vs SRH Dream11 Prediction

Wicketkeeper for KXIP vs SRH Dream11

For the wicketkeeping slot, it is going to be straight shootout between Jonny Bairstow and KL Rahul. I go in with Jonny Bairstow for this game purely on the basis of the bowling lineup that he is up against.

KL Rahul will be up against one of the best bowling lineups in the IPL and will have to counter not only Nabi’s brilliance initially but also with swing of Sandeep Sharma and Bhuvi. And if he manages to survive that, Rashid Khan would be threatening his stumps, pads and that outside edge of his bat.

Go in with Jonny Bairstow for this game, he has a higher chance of giving you Dream11 points than KL Rahul.

Bowlers for KXIP vs SRH Dream11

Rashid Khan would be the first bowler that I get into my side this game. Every ball that Rashid bowls poses a question to the batsmen and while he hasn’t taken heaps of wickets until now in the IPL this season; a 3 wicket haul is just round the corner. Moreover, with KXIP having 4 right-handers in their top 6, Rashid should have a good time taking the ball away from them. Get him in.

For the second bowling option, I would be getting in Sandeep Sharma, who has been in terrific form with the ball, quietly picking up the wickets while Bhuvi has struggled a little. Coming in at 8cr, Sandeep helps me with my budget constraints and also has been one of the most successful SRH bowlers this season when it comes to number of wickets taken.

For my final bowling pick, I would be going in with Murugun Ashwin. I have already explained in my earlier articles that I’ll be going ahead with bowlers that aren’t worth too much(unless they are Rashid Khan). Dream11 points system isn’t quite favourable for the bowlers and hence I don’t quite want to invest heavily into bowlers.

Murugun Ashwin has been doing a decent job for KXIP in the last few games and could come in handy at Mohali on Monday. As a budget bowling pick up, he surely makes my side for Monday.

All-Rounders for KXIP vs SRH Dream11

Mohammad Nabi would be my first all-rounder pick for this game. The former Afghan captain has taken the IPL by storm this season, bamboozling batsmen with his under-cutters during the powerplay. With KXIP having 3 left-handers in their top 7, Nabi could spin a web around them. Moreover, he is also known for using the long-handle to good effect. Amongst the all-rounders on offer on Monday, he seems to be the best one at the moment.

Vijay Shankar’s batting position makes me tilt a little towards his side, despite that horrendous shot selection in the last game. Coming in at 3, Shankar gets good number of balls to face and has the talent to get a gritty fifty, if not a quick one.

For the final all-rounder, I would be going in with Sam Curran. Curran has been in brilliant touch with the ball for KXIP and did decently well for them in the one game that he opened. Curran is being used at the death by Ashwin, thanks to his ability of using that in-swinging yorker to good effect.

Batsmen for KXIP vs SRH Dream11

David Warner has been in brilliant form this IPL season, having scored 2 fifties and a hundred in the first 3 games. While he has failed in the last two innings, on a flat Mohali wicket, I expect him to get back to his high-scoring best.

Chris Gayle at Mohali is a scary prospect and while he could be troubled by that highly effective SRH bowling unit; I wouldn’t want to take the chance of leaving out Gayle, largely because of the fear of losing out massively if he fires big time.

Mayank Agarwal has been batting brilliantly for KXIP at number 3, accumulating runs when needed and playing the aggressor’s role to perfection as well.

For the final batting spot, I go ahead with Sarfaraz Khan, who has been highly impressive in that number 4 role for KXIP this season. While in the previous few season, Sarfaraz has been satisfied with small cameos at number 6, 7; this season he has batted in brilliant fashion at 4, taking responsibility and constructing his innings in admirable fashion.
