Benjamin Calitz nonchalantly grabs one-handed stunner: The Canadian fielder was cool as a cucumber while grabbing a stunner.

During the 13th place playoff of the ongoing ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup between UAE and Canada in Potchefstroom, Canada batsman Benjamin Calitz remained cool as a cucumber while taking a daunting catch to dismiss UAE batsman Osama Hassan.

It all happened on the second delivery of the 24th over when Hassan’s attempt to sweep a delivery from Canada spinner Gurjot Gosal saw him hitting the ball in the air towards square leg.

With Hassan hitting the ball firmly, it required some quick reflexes from Calitz who was fielding at square leg. Calitz nonchalantly putting his hand up and grabbing the catch without much fuss spoke highly about the dismissal.

While Hassan walked back to the pavilion without any contribution, Gosal registered impressive bowling figures of 10-1-36-2.

After Canada captain Ashton Deosammy won the toss and invited the opposition in to bat, his bowlers put on display an incredible bowling effort to bundle out the opposition for 174 in 44.1 overs.

Coming in to bat at No. 6 in the 21st over, UAE all-rounder Alishan Sharafu top-scored for them with 65* (73) with the help of seven fours and a six. Having registered bowling figures of 3.1-0-16-3, Canada medium-pacer Udaybir Walia was their highest wicket-taker in the match.
