WATCH: Chris Lynn’s hilarious comment on playing PSL 2020 at empty Gaddafi Stadium
Chris Lynn’s hilarious comment: Qalandars’ opening batsman appeared to be enjoying his time while playing in front of an empty stadium.
During the 29th match of the ongoing fifth season of the Pakistan Super League between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in Lahore, Lahore Qalandars registered an emphatic 9-wicket victory over table-toppers in Multan Sultans.
Chasing 187-run target, Qalandars’ ploy of promoting batsman Chris Lynn to open the batting alongside Fakhar Zaman proved to be a game-changing decision for the pair’s 100-run quickfire opening partnership laid a solid foundation.
While Zaman (57) got out to Sultans spinner Usman Qadir in the ninth over, Lynn took the onus on himself for he went on to score his second T20 century which sealed the chase for the hosts in the penultimate over.

Thrashing the visiting bowlers left, right and centre, Lynn scoring 113* (55) with the help of 12 fours and eight sixes saw him becoming the first-ever Lahore batsman to score a century in the PSL.
With the tournament being played behind closed doors due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Lynn seemed to have taken a dig at the situation when he was on the mic while fielding in the first innings.
When Multan opening batsman Zeeshan Ashraf (2) became part of a soft dismissal off Mohammad Hafeez in the second over, Lynn made a hilarious comment regarding the atmosphere of the Gaddafi stadium.
“Another one falls and the crowd goes wild,” Lynn said while playing in an empty stadium.
