Kyrie Irving: NBA star questions the return of 2019-20 season amidst the prevalent Coronavirus situation in the United States.
Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving is one of the several NBA players who are concerned about the return of NBA 2019-20. Kyrie Irving is said to be the driving force behind the interactions between the players over the upcoming tournament.
The players will be discussing how the NBA restart would impact the players, as cases in Florida are on the rise. The major impact that the restart of the NBA season will bring to the Americans once it returns to the Walt Disney World.
According to some reports, around 150 plus players have scheduled a zoom conference call on Friday night to discuss the ongoing pandemic and its effects on the players.
Once the season returns the players have to be quarantined for the rest of the season and frequent testing will be done to keep a check on the COVID-19 outbreak.
Adding to Taylor’s report: I’m told today’s conf call could involve up to 200 players. Also hearing that Kyrie Irving has been a driving force in organizing these calls, and in raising concerns over NBA’s bubble plan. https://t.co/0voQafmveO

America currently has over two million active COVID-19 cases with over one lakh deaths. The figures are frightening and players are concerned about the same.
The affected players feel that they were not heard when the Board of Governors voted for the season to return. A few players held their sentiments as many NBA star players were in favour of the decision as they are the ones who will lose the most by letting the season go.

Hosting a league in a bubble just for the sake of earning some revenue and public entertainment during a pandemic is just not reasonable. This will only hamper the health of the NBA players and can damage their careers.
