WWE RAW will feature an ‘unexpected surprise’ that ‘everyone will like’ according to reports. RAW’s viewership has plummeted through the lockdown.

The WWE have been struggling with viewership for quite sometime now. The coronavirus induced lockdown seems to have accelerated their down fall. For their go home show for ‘Backlash’ last week, the company garnered a meagre 1.737.

The fact that not a lot happened at Backlash means that the WWE do not have a lot going for them heading into Monday night Raw. However, with the company desperate to break out of their funk, it is being reported that the WWE are looking to bring in an unexpected surprise on WWE Raw.

WWE insider account @WrestleVotes has reported that the upcoming episode of WWE Raw will feature something unexpected that everyone will like.

I really don’t want to spoil the news for everyone, so I’m not. However, I got a phone call earlier with info that RAW will feature something unexpected. Which I think everyone will like…. Sometimes scares never heal.

While the tweet did not mention anything more, it did contain a quote “sometimes scars never heal,” suggesting that maybe it has something to do with Edge’s real life best friend Christian.

The Captain Charisma was seen on WWE Backlash arguing with Ric Flair over who would win between Edge and Randy Orton.

Having said that, there is nothing concrete out there to base any theories on what the surprise is. However, Vince McMahon will hope it works. The last time the company reached 2 million views was all the way back in April 6, more than 2 months ago.
