LeBron James: Colin Kaepernick gets support from Lakers star; demands official apology from NFL
LeBron James thinks that the NFL should come up with an official apology to Colin Kaepernick for his national anthem protest.
LeBron James posted a picture on social media with Colin calling out justice for his friend that the NFL owes him.

NFL recently came out in support of the Black Lives Matter protest and has promised an amount of $250million to fight against the racial injustice that Black Americans are facing in the nation.
LeBron James demands apology from NFL for Colin Kaepernick
James thinks that the NFL has now understood the concern that Colin was raIsing in 2016 and should apologize to Colin officially.

LeBron said during a Zoom interview with Bloomberg Businessweek that “As far as the NFL, I’m not in those locker rooms, I’m not with those guys but I do understand that an apology, I have not heard a true, official apology to Colin Kaepernick on what he was going through and what he was trying to tell the NFL and tell the world about why he was kneeling when he was doing that as a San Francisco 49er,”

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick chose not to stand during the national anthem against Green Bay Packers in a preseason game on 26 August. After the game, Colin explained why he has done so. “I am not looking for approval. I have to stand up for the people that are oppressed” said Colin.

Following this incident, on September 1, Colin kneeled on the sideline during the national anthem, before the game against San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm. The act was to extend the support to the discrimination that Black people are facing in the country.
LeBron James has been long Vocal on the injustice that his community faces and is using his reach to bring a change that America needs at.
