NBA 2K21 Cover: Zion Williamson and Kobe Bryant amongst 3 athletes to be on the cover; final announcement on Tik Tok
The NBA 2K21 cover rumored to have Zion Williamson and Kobe Bryant along with one other NBA superstar. Final unveiling to take place on Tik Tok.
The announcement came yesterday as NBA 2k posted their very first TikTok video, with 2k20 cover star Anthony Davis unveiling details about the forthcoming game. The video suggested that the popular cover will feature 3 cover stars with one of them rumoured to feature the late Kobe Bryant. The five time NBA champion suffered a tragic death earlier this year which left the entire NBA fraternity in a state of shock.

NBA 2k has set off the rumour mill earlier this month when they released a teaser video featuring Pelicans star Zion Williamson. Zion was the first overall pick in last year’s NBA draft. The rookie has rapidly gone on to create a massive popularity for himself in a short span of time.

While Williamson is a cash cow with enormous popularity, he would be the least-accomplished cover athlete in NBA 2K history. Therefore it’s possible the brand will also want someone who has done more in the NBA to represent the game on one of the covers.

Other athletes who are rumoured to be in the running include Mavericks star Luka Doncic, Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, or even the Houston Rockets’ James Harden.
