Is Stephen Curry playing tonight vs Grizzlies? Warriors release injury report for unanimous MVP ahead of clash against Ja Morant and co
Stephen Curry has been listed as doubtful for the Warriors’ clash against the 10th-seeded Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
The Warriors have failed to gather any sort of momentum through the course of this season. Curry and Draymond Green have been pulling their weight, but they just haven’t found consistency from the supporting cast.
At this stage, a top-6 berth seems quite out of reach for the 9th-seeded team. They will likely have to settle for one of the bottom 3 play-in spots, considering the Mavericks’ form.
Stephen Curry sustained a freak injury during the Warriors’ win over the Rockets 2 nights ago. He rammed into the metal stairs at the Toyota Center stands and had to exit the game because of the contusion he sustained.
Is Stephen Curry playing tonight vs Memphis Grizzlies?
Curry did not practice with the team yesterday, which means the star is definitely injured at the moment. The Warriors have released a concrete or detailed injury report yet, but there is a good chance that they’ll sit their 2-time MVP as a precautionary measure tonight.
The Warriors played reasonably well without Steph against the sliding Rockets, but the Grizzlies are a different animal. They are trying their best to make their own climb up the Western Conference standings unlike the tanking Rockets.
Steph Curry is doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Grizzlies in Memphis, per Steve Kerr. Kelly Oubre is also doubtful. Was kicked in the foot yesterday.

The Warriors are also likely to be without one of their best defenders in Kelly Oubre Jr for this game. Oubre sustained a foot injury in the second half, and like Steph, he had to exit the win against the Rockets.
It will be a real test of the Warriors’ strength in depth to play this fixture without Stephen Curry. Brad Wanamaker will possibly see some floor time, while the likes of Nico Mannion may see their role grow. Kerr will have to ride heavy on his bench to get this win.
