Fernando Alonso Net Worth 2020: How much does F1 legend Fernando Alonso worth in 2020, will his move to Renault bolster it?
The veteran driver is set to make a comeback in Formula 1 racing with Renault reportedly about to hire him for the 2021 season. The Spanish legend will replace Daniel Ricciardo who is making a move to McLaren.
Alonso’s last spell in Formula 1 was with McLaren back in 2018, which was not a joyous one to watch, as the car made by the British company was one of the slowest in the grids.
In 2018, Alonso announced his retirement but remained with McLaren as an advisor to aid and advise its engineers and drivers. Alonso also drove in select test sessions to develop the MCL34 and MCL35 cars.
Alonso drove the MCL34 during a two-day in-season post-race Bahrain test in April 2019 to develop tyres for Pirelli. His contract came to an end in 2019 and wasn’t renewed further.
