NBA Bubble: Chris Paul appreciates Mavericks’ socially distanced party; sends a message to other teams
Chris Paul appreciated Dallas Mavericks’ socially distanced balcony party, urges other teams to adopt a positive attitude at the Bubble.
All the teams have reached the NBA Bubble and have completed their two day quarantine periods. Teams have started to hit the practice courts as well.
But, the talk of the Bubble till now has been the Dallas Mavericks’ socially distanced dance party. It has also been appreciated by OKC’s guard and the president of the players association Chris Paul.
This comes after a lot of players have complained about the facilities in the NBA Bubble. The Food and the accommodation hasn’t been acceptable to a lot of players, but the Mavs have embraced it all very well.

The video was posted by the Mavs forward Maxi Kleber on his Instagram page. The caption said ’48 hours of self-isolation can‘t stop DJ Ice-o and DJ Q from turning up 🎧🎧!’.
There was music and the Mavs players could be seen having a good time from the balconies of their rooms.
Kleber was seen making the most of the two-day quarantine along with teammates Luka Doncic, Dwight Powell, etc. The Mavs followed the social distancing protocols and still were able to have a good time.
Such moments show the bond the Mavs team shares with each other.

Paul said, “To see them outside doing that, having a good time, the more we have those type of interactions and experiences I think the better we’ll make this.” Praising the Mavs positive attitude and trying to make the best of the Bubble situation.
Paul said that such a positive attitude should be adopted by each team to uplift the spirits and adapt to the unfamiliar situation of living and playing in a bubble.
Many teams and players have been criticizing the conditions and the facilities of the Bubble like the food, rooms, etc. Other teams could learn from the Mavs and try to make the most of this unusual situation.
The NBA restarts on the 30th of July, with scrimmages (practice matches) taking place between teams from the 23rd of July.
