ICC T20 World Cup 2020 tickets: Will 2020 World Cup’s tickets be valid in 2021 or 2022?
ICC T20 World Cup 2020 tickets: ICC (International Cricket Council) has posted a series of FAQs to answer fans’ queries.
One can’t deny the fact that it was only a matter of time for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 to get postponed in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. The world event ended up becoming just another high-profile sports event to get delayed due to the global pandemic.
From a Cricket Australia letter to ICC (according to The Times of India a couple of months ago) to Cricket Australia Chairman Earl Eddings and Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani, there were enough talks which hinted at the postponement of the world event.
Originally slated to be played in Australia in October-November this year, the tournament has been delayed by a year. With another T20 World Cup already slated to be played in 2021 in India, it remains unclear if Australia will hold the T20 World Cup in 2021 or 2022.
