F1 Qualifying Results: Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas dominate qualifying round at Spanish Grand Prix by grabbing P1 & P2
F1 Qualifying Results: Kimi Raikkonen qualifies into the first round of the Spanish qualifying, achieves this feat for the first time in the season.
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton dominated the first round of the qualifying with ending at the P1, however, his teammate Valtteri Bottas was lagging behind.
Meanwhile, Sergio Perez who has just returned after recovering from COVID-19 has finished at the second position, followed by Max Verstappen.
Kimi Raikkonen who has never qualified to the Q2 in any of the previous Grand Prix this season has finally qualified for the one. But it didn’t take him long to be eliminated in Q2 as he finished P14.
Meanwhile, Bottas buckled up in the Q2 and ended up on P2. On the other hand, Renault’s qualifying ended in Q2, with both Esteban Ocon and Daniel Ricciardo facing elimination.
But most importantly, Sebastian Vettel had another disappointment in the season as he failed to get into the last round of the qualification, ending up at P11.

In the end, Mercedes grabbed P1 and P2 ahead of the race day, with Verstappen hanging on their necks on the P3. Racing Point with a better car this year is P4 and P5, hence, there is nothing unusual in the final ladder.
