Conor McGregor remembers his iconic bout with Floyd Mayweather, which took place three years ago. And paid tribute to the 50-0 record maker.
It’s been 3 years since the money battle between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather took off at the T-Mobile, Arena, Las Vegas, where the world witnessed Mayweather making McGregor his 50th victim of his professional boxing career.
If we peek at the flashback, fight became a dream crossover for all the boxing and UFC enthusiasts, as two men who are placed at the summit of their respective sports clashed in a battle where stakes were worth millions. In the build-up back then, it was Conor McGregor who pulled crowds from all sections with his usual wordplay. There was intensity between the two, but after the fight got over, there were handshakes and the friendly embrace which gave the spectators in attendance and others watching from around the world a pleasing closure of the historic event.

However, the chapter did not close there, as the two continued to engage in an occasional back and forth on social media.
But now after 36 months, it seems that all is in the past now, as Conor McGregor has shown respect for his the then opponent in an Instagram post, which also highlights the third anniversary of the biggest bout of all.
