Giannis Antetokounmpo trade: Bucks star unfollows all teammates on Instagram; sparks trade rumors
The Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo unfollowing all his teammates and the Bucks on social media has brought back trade speculations.
It has been almost 4 days since the Miami Heat knocked out the Milwaukee Bucks and seems like Giannis has had some time to think things over. Following the Game 5 loss and elimination, Giannis Antetokounmpo said that the Bucks plan to establish a winning culture and he’s not going anywhere.
While he may have said no and killed any trade speculations back then, what he did today makes us all wonder, yet again. Earlier this season Giannis answered the question regarding his future in Milwaukee by saying, “as long as we’re winning” and they clearly weren’t winning anymore.
Giannis is clearly the face of the Bucks and him and the Bucks having some issues does not mean good news for the franchise.
What does Giannis Antetokounmpo unfollowing Bucks and his teammates mean?
Giannis unfollowed everyone but 9 people on his Instagram and he just follows 6 people on his twitter now.
He also unfollowed the Bucks. https://t.co/CAaITYGl3I

While all this could be a marketing strategy/rebuilding thing, the timing of the same is sure enough to make everyone question what is going on.
One of the 9 people Giannis still follows on Instagram is Brian Davison, his business lead and sports marketing manager at Nike. This points at a possible marketing stunt for his Zoom Freak line with the brand.
However, Bucks fans would be extremely worried by this move of Giannis, as he had promised the world that he wouldn’t be moving. The Reigning MVP will need to be careful about what he says in a public forum, because things can easily come to bite him back.
What if all this is not a marketing move?
Even though there is a high chance that this is a move for some marketing or Giannis cleaning out his feed, but on the off chance that isn’t, what does it mean?
Does Giannis want out from Milwaukee? If so, where all can he end up going to?
The top three contenders for Giannis are the Heat(we get the irony), the Raptors, or the Warriors.
