“Joe Burrow is going to be a star”, Skip bayless his say on Bengals Rookie Quarterback
The Bengals haven’t gotten off to a great start this season, losing to both the Chargers and the Browns. However, their rookie QB has put up impressive numbers despite these losses. Can Joe Burrow become a star in the NFL?
Who is Joe Burrow?
Joe Burrow is the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals and was drafted first overall in the 2020 NFL draft. He came out of LSU and prior to that, he was a backup QB for Ohio State in 2018. He transferred to LSU in 2019 and became a starter there.
The rookie recorded 5,600 yards with 60 touchdowns that season, the latter being the most in a single season in NCAA FBS history. Hw won many awards, including the coveted Heisman Trophy and Maxwell Award.
Some believe that season to be the greatest ever by a college quarterback.

His debut in the NFL
Burrow started his NFL debut with some mixed results.
The Bengals have gone 0-2 with Burrow being their primary passer. Although, both losses weren’t blowouts and the rookie received some pretty poor pass protection against LA.
However, the QB had recorded pretty impressive stats in both those games. Against LA, he recorded 193 yards and a TD that was scored by him. However, he did throw an interception in the fourth quarter, which probably cost the Bengals the game.
Against the Browns, however, it was a different story. Despite the loss Cincinnati took, Burrow threw for over 300 yards, recording 3 TDs in the process. A great start for the rookie overall.
Reactions to Joe Burrow
A lot of journalists and broadcasters have praised the young athlete, making predictions that he will become a star in the league. Even Skip Bayless, who is known for stingy remarks, complimented the rookie by stating that he is pretty mobile and “loves to compete”.
Joe Burrow is going to be a star. Sneaky velocity and mobility. Loves to compete. Just has a feel for playing QB.

Even though the Bengals started off 0-2, they just need a little patience as Burrow definitely has an All-Pro type of caliber.
