‘LeBron James is the GOAT, not Michael Jordan’: Isiah Thomas explains why Lakers star is better than MJ
Isiah Thomas crowns LeBron James GOAT status as he claims ‘The King’ is the greatest NBA player of all time.
The LeBron/Jordan debate on who is the undisputed GOAT of the NBA is perhaps the most divisive topic that can be discussed, concerning the NBA.
This discussion has been ongoing for years now, with personalities ranging from trolls from the depths of the internet to the respected NBA analysts such as Stephen A. Smith and Brian Windhorst.
With LeBron James seeking his 4th title with the Los Angeles Lakers, Isiah Thomas takes to social media to voice his opinion on who he believes is the GOAT.
Isiah Thomas says LeBron James is the GOAT
NBA Hall of Famer and 2x champion Isiah Thomas moments ago took to Twitter to tweet out a rather controversial opinion of his, on who the NBA’s greatest player of all time is.
Thomas believes LeBron James has proven himself to be the GOAT, saying, “The best and most complete player i have seen in my lifetime is LeBron James.”
The best and most “complete” player I have seen in my lifetime is @KingJames on and off the floor. He passed the eye test and the numbers confirm what my eyes have seen in every statistical category. #Goat let it be known! pic.twitter.com/wb2iuLoQ4M

This tweet comes after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat to go up 3-1 in the NBA Finals and put themselves in a position to be one win away from winning it all this season, giving LeBron James his 4th ring.
Is this take by Isiah Thomas biased due to his relationship with Michael Jordan?
It’s no secret that Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan has a rocky relationship at best.
Isiah Thomas was the leader of the “Bad Boy Pistons” in the late 80s and early 90s, and these Pistons teams were beat Jordan’s Bulls multiple times in the Playoffs, while also playing dirty.
It was very well documented in “The Last Dance” docuseries that Michael Jordan did not like Isiah Thomas, as Jordan even kept Thomas off the iconic 1992 Olympic Dream Team.
To this day, Jordan and Thomas have not mended their relationship and this could be a factor as to why Isiah Thomas was so quick to claim LeBron James was the GOAT.
