Real Madrid and Barcelona are fighting over Davinson Sánchez
So how do you improve a team that has won back to back Champions League titles?
That is what Zinedine Zidane is tasked with this summer. Real Madrid have spent million of dollars in luring the best players in the world for their ‘Galactico’ project.
While the likes of Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale have been successful signings, there have been many players such as Kaka, James and Kovacic in recent years who have failed to live up to their billing.
Nevertheless, Zidane has transformed the current team into the team to beat in Europe.

And now he has his sights set on Ajax youngster Davinson Sanchez. The 21 year old defender has been a major target for Barcelona this summer, something that Zidane has not missed out on.
Sanchez was a crucial part of the Ajax side that was so impressive en route to the Europa League final last season.
Graceful on the ball and tigerish in tackles, Sanchez looks to have a very bright future in the game. When two of the biggest clubs in the world are after you then clearly there is something special about you!
Barcelona are still looking for a replacement for Carlos Puyol, which is why they are pressing for Sanchez’s signature.
If Zidane is able to gazump this deal, then not only will they strengthen their side but also weaken their greatest domestic and European rival.
Let us see if Zidane can get his man now!
