Neymar Banned from Twitch : In a surprising turn of events early today football star Neymar was banned from Twitch. Reasons are still unclear and fans are speculating as to why this happened.

From buying Esports organizations to streaming themselves, the sporting world is developing a keen interest in Esports. Manchester City star Sergio Aguero regularly streams on Twitch and is watched by thousands of fans each day.

About a month another football star Neymar Jr. took the plunge and started streaming. He plays of course FIFA and also Counterstrike. With Neymar arguably one of the most popular football stars on the planet, his streams pull hundreds of thousands of views. So, it puzzled fans as to why he was banned.

Reason 1: Neymar leaks Richarlison’s phone number –

It is widely known that leaking other people’s personal information, like addresses and phone numbers, is against Twitch’s Community Guidelines. Twitch takes it seriously and this could be one of the reasons of the ban.

Back on October 18th Neymar called Richarlison when he was livestreaming and accidently revealed Richarlison’s phone number. All was well between the two as Richarlison tweeted unamused that he got  “more than 10 thousand messaged” in five minutes. This could very well be a reason of Neymar getting banned.

Reason 2: Neymar affected by the DMCA crackdown? –

Everyone knows how big of an issue DMCAs are in the world of twitch lately. It could very well be the reason for Neymar recent issue as well. Simply playing music in the background of a channel can get someone in trouble somewhat quickly. But this should not be a problem for Neymar, as he himself stars in FIFA.

Clearly these are just assumptions at this point as Twitch never discloses the exact reason for banning somebody. Neymar brings with him a huge worldwide and also a brazilian audience and Twitch and fans would surely miss that if his ban does not get reversed quickly.
