The inaugural season of the Lanka Premier League, Sri Lanka’s first T20 competition in the last eight years, will commence from tomorrow, i.e., November 26 with the first match set to be played between Colombo Kings and Kandy Tuskers.
Much like the first match, all LPL 2020 matches will be played at one stadium named Sooriyawewa stadium near Hambantota.
Despite multiple delays due to several reasons, Lanka Premier League has managed to become eye-witness to some tried and tested names in T20 league around the world. Had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament wouldn’t have been delayed and might have had more star power.

Lanka Premier League 2020 Live Telecast Channel in India, Sri Lanka and UK
Sony Network will broadcast the live streaming of the inaugural season of Lanka Premier League in India and Sri Lanka. Much like other cricket matches on Sony Network, LPL 2020 will also be telecast on Sony SIX and Sony SIX HD.
“LPL’s broadcasting partner’s – Sky, Sony, Geo, and PTV – global reach will help the League grow in stature and will help the league connect with millions of fans across the globe,” tournament director Ravin Wickramasinghe said.

Online users can stream the match on Sony’s streaming application named Sony LIV. It is worth mentioning that the match can also be watched on Airtel Xstream app as Sony Network’s channels are available on this platform as well.
As far as the fans in England and Pakistan are concerned, they will be able to watch the intriguing Lanka Premier League on their televisions by tuning in to Sky Sports and PTV respectively.

Match start Time – 03:30 PM (IST), 07:30 PM (IST) and 08:00 PM (IST).
