‘Michael Jordan is god level’: Nets’ Kevin Durant responds to greatest scorer comparison with MJ

Kevin Durant excuses himself from comparisons with Michael Jordan in regards to who the greatest scorer of all time is.

The NBA has been around for almost 75 years now. During that time, there have been a lot of dominant players in the league. Out of all those players, there are only a few who are considered as dominant as Michael Jordan.

A debate for the title of the greatest scorer took place on the First Take. Max Kellerman and Kendrick Perkins were going at it in full swing, debating between Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant. However, the debate did not end on just the show. A user on Twitter took to show how KD can possibly overtake MJ as the greatest scorer ever.

Kevin Durant calls Michael Jordan ‘unmatched, unparalleled’

While Kevin Durant may be pleased with this comparison, he did not want the smoke that comes with the same.

He called Michael Jordan a God, and showered him with praises, along with asking fans to keep him out of any sort of comparison with the basketball GOAT.

Mj is one of one, God level, unmatched, unparalled, a pure master at this shit. I’m still watching his games to learn. Leave me out of it please

The Nets star emphasised on the fact that he was still learning from MJ and how he time and again switches on his clips in order to get acquire one or the other skill.

Almost all players of KDs age have grown up watching Jordan attain greatness on the court. To be even mentioned in the same breath as him is a compliment and Durant feels that it is an honour that fans feel he can score in the same way that MJ did, but never in wildest dreams would he compare himself to his idol. Thus, he has fairly asked fans to stay away from any such comparisons and just let him be.
