“He has symptoms”- Toto Wolff reveals Lewis Hamilton’s road to recovery from COVID-19 is on the way, though he still has mild symptoms.
Lewis Hamilton earlier this weekend was tested positive of COVID-19, leading to his first absence from any race this season. Speaking about it Toto Wolff gives an update about his health condition.
Wolff explained that there is nothing to worry about Hamilton’s physical conditions, and he is responding to the treatment, but still has mild symptoms.
“He is recovering. The first few days are always critical once you catch corona. He’s OK. He has symptoms but they are relatively mild.” Went on to say that he is “in bed and not feeling great”

Hamilton has been replaced by George Russell for the Sakhir Grand Prix, where the Briton managed to stand first in the Free practice 1, his first-ever front standing in Formula 1.

First podium for Russell
Russell with Mercedes is looking solid for Sunday after a great series of timing in both practice sessions. Ironically, he is yet to score the first points of his career.
So, scoring first points of his career with a podium would be a cherry on the cake for him. However, seeing at the downside, Russell would be riding the greatest Formula 1 car of all time and anything below top-3 or at least top-4 might be termed a failure, so he would surely be having performance pressure.
