The 1st Cyberpunk 2077 update file size is estimated to be around 43.5 GB. An update of this size is more than most games out there. The original size of the game was 70 GB and the total length of the game is said to be 40-50 hours. So, an update of more than half the size of the game must mean that there is a pretty big change to the game.

CD Projekt Red’s public relations manager confirmed the legitimacy of the tweet and said that this won’t be the update on the day-of-launch. This means that there will be another update that the players will have to download.

All of this translates to the fact that you will probably have to wait a little longer before playing the long-awaited game.
