Seth Rollins comments on Ben Carter signing with the WWE. The WWE confirmed the signing of Rollins’ student on the latest episode of NXT UK.

Ben Carter’s stocks rose after he tore the house down with Lee Johnson on an episode of AEW Dark. He also wrestled on a special Late Night Dynamite episode. With his future in the air, Carter has chosen to follow in the footsteps of his teacher Seth Rollins.

A graduate of ‘Black and Brave Wrestling Academy’, a wrestling school owned by Rollins, Carter has officially joined the WWE and will join the NXT UK brand. Carter took to Twitter to express his joy at finally becoming a WWE Superstar.

I came to the states 4 and a half years ago as a kid with a dream.

I had no idea how I was gonna do it… but I knew exactly what I wanted.

That dream, it just came true.

Seth Rollins comments on Ben Carter signing with the WWE

The SmackDown savior was full of praise for the 22 year old. He even compared him to Dynamite Kid and Eddie Guerrero.

“Ben Carter came to the United States with a dream, and he is living that dream right now because of how dedicated he is,” Rollins said. “To me, the sky is the limit for Ben Carter; it truly is.

“He is one of the most athletically gifted performers I’ve ever seen, and the way he moves in the ring reminds me so much of the Dynamite Kid and Eddie Guerrero.

“He’s got so much snap, so much whip. He soaks up information like a sponge, He is always asking questions. He could live in a wrestling ring if you let him. So, I think he has all the ingredients to make it to the top.”

William Regal also admitted Rollins tutelage of Carter is what attracted him to the prospect in the first place.

“I first found out about Ben Carter when he was over here training at Seth Rollins’ wrestling school. If I hear anybody has been trained by Seth Rollins, I’m interested because Seth Rollins is as good as it gets.”

Carter will feature on the NXT UK brand. Hopefully it won’t be long before he makes his switch to NXT and then eventually either RAW or SmackDown on the main roster and show the world why Rollins rates him very highly.
