“Feel as confident about future of F1”- Martin Brundle innocently shows optimism about the future of Formula 1 ahead of new regulations.
The doyen of Formula 1 commentary Martin Brundle presenting the sport for decades has expressed his optimism towards the sport for the coming years.
Making a retweet to Skysport’s news update of Davide Brivio taking the position of racing director of Alpine, he has mentioned that he is optimistic about F1’s future while citing the McLaren and Williams’ progress.
But at the same time, this is not the first time he has made it, and in the past few years, the dominance of Mercedes has broken all the aspirations.
“Feel as confident about the future of F1 as I’ve done for a few years. Common sense has broken out, great young drivers, we’re attracting good sponsors + key players.”
“McLaren and Williams recovering. 2022 cars need to be spot on, the icing on the cake would be a new manufacturer joining 2025,” tweets Brundle.

Maybe this time Martin Brundle is correct.
With the budget caps being imposed and in less than five years, new engine regulations set to be introduced, Mercedes’ dominance might end soon.
Interestingly, Lewis Hamilton, who has been the crucial key to making the success happen on the track with his terrific performances, might not remain with the team in the immediate future.
So, it seems this is the best time to remain optimistic, while we are cursing the Brackley based team for running away with the title every year.
