“Benny is easily the best NBA mascot”: Chicago Bulls mascot engages in hysterical impression of Bernie Sanders at Presidential inauguration in front of LeBron James
Chicago Bulls mascot Benny does a hilarious Bernie Sanders impersonation at the United Center against Los Angeles Lakers.
For quite a few days, social media has gone been swamped with the famous Bernie Sanders meme. During the recently-concluded inauguration of the 46th United States’ President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, was the 79-year old Bernie Sanders sitting sincerely on his seat.
The photo blew up all of social media feeds. People around the world immediately began to make memes using the photo of the United States’ Democratic Senator.
On Saturday, Chicago Bulls hosted the defending champions Los Angeles Lakers at the United Center. During the first quarter, with a little under a minute, ‘Benny the Bull’ – Chicago’s mascot did his best Bernie Sander impersonation. The impersonation, unsurprisingly, was spot on by Benny the bull.

Young Chicago Bulls team has 3-game win streak snapped by Lakers
Chicago Bulls are looking like a much better team than last year. Zach LaVine leading his team to a decent 7-9 record, placing the Bulls on the 9th spot. LaVine continues to look good, averaging 27.2 points, 5.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds along with 1.4 steals per game.
But the challenge to play against the Lakers was a difficult task for a young Bulls squad. The Bulls were down by 30 at the half, trailing 63-33. Despite the Bulls putting on a tremendous second-half comeback, they couldn’t manage to shock the Lakers.
The Lakers won the game 101-90, with Anthony Davis having a monster game with 37 points and 6 rebounds. LeBron James, too, had a good game, finishing with a 17 points and 11 rebounds double-double, after also having missed an open dunk. The Lakers have now improved their record to 13-4 – the best record in the whole league currently.
Although the Bulls couldn’t win the match, Benny won the internet with his spot-on impersonation.
