“Damn right I’m going to take every opportunity” – Charlotte Flair hits back at critics of her constantly being in the WWE Women’s title picture
Charlotte Flair hits back at critics of her constantly being in the WWE Women’s title picture. The Queen is a 12 time Women’s champion in the WWE.
Charlotte Flair is the most decorated Women’s wrestler in WWE history. She has 13 titles to her name with 12 of them being World Championships. This however, has earned her a lot of criticism from fans who believe that she wouldn’t be where she is without her last name.

Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Charlotte explained that she had worked very hard for the opportunities given to her.
“You don’t have to like me, I don’t have to be your favorite,” Flair said. “You don’t have to even think I’m good, but to question my work ethic and what I have given to this business is not fair.”
“It’s almost like you get into the business and say you don’t want to be world champion,” she continued. “You don’t get into the business saying that. You might not like the sports team that’s always making the championships, but that shouldn’t discredit the person. I got to a point where I wondered if I should apologize to people. If someone else was getting these opportunities would they feel sorry for me?”

“[Critics] don’t know the time I’ve put into what I’m doing,” Flair said. “Damn right I’m going to take every opportunity. Who in their right mind wouldn’t take these opportunities just so they can make these people feel better? I have to tell myself that sometimes.”
Charlotte is currently in the middle of her first tag team title reign. It has long been rumored that she will turn on her partner Asuka and the two will feud for the RAW Women’s champion sooner or later. Should that happen, it will likely provide more fuel for her critics.
Judging by her words, making them happy isn’t a priority though. So long as she’s worked hard for it, it appears the Queen doesn’t feel the need to justify her opportunities anymore.
