Snoop Dogg recently appeared on AEW Dynamite. While his appearance was long advertised not many saw his splash coming. The rapper took to the ropes to land a dive on Serpentico and pin him much to the amusement of many including WWE Superstar Sasha Banks.

The WWE SmackDown women’s champion almost immediately poked fun at her cousin’s expense on social media. The spot was brought up during her recent appearance on the Complex Sports Podcast. Banks revealed that Snoop Dogg called her after it and shared what they spoke about.

“I saw him two weeks before he did that, and he was talking about how he wanted to do a splash,” Banks said. “I wasn’t thinking that splash was going to look like that! He called me right after, just cracked up laughing, asking if I was proud. I was like, ‘Dude, if you had fun, that’s all that matters.’”

Going by what we saw on Dynamite, it seemed like Snoop did have a lot of fun. He was also part of a backstage segment with Private party. He also debuted Cody Rhodes’ new remixed entrance music and even got to pin a wrestler. That’s more fun than some people have in a lifetime!

Sasha Banks on the other hand, has a grueling time waiting or her. The Boss has a title defense scheduled against Carmella at Royal Rumble. She’s beaten both Carmella and her Sommelier before. However, it will definitely be a tough task to face Carmella while Reginald stands guard outside, making this an entertaining match.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
