“Yo Francis Ngannou you ready to bend the knee?”: Henry Cejudo shows what a face-off with Francis Ngannou would look like
Henry Cejudo calls out Francis Ngannou on Twitter; Directs him to “sign the contract.”
It’s been almost a year since Henry Cejudo announced his retirement. The former UFC champ-champ decided to call it a career after defending the Bantamweight title at UFC 249, and since then he hasn’t extensively shown any interest in returning to the Octagon. However, being an active user of social media platforms, Triple-c often teases a comeback by calling out other fellow fighters.
In the last 8 months, Henry Cejudo has called out several fighters. Alexander Volkanovski, Deiveson Figueiredo, Cody Garbrandt, and Sean O’Malley, are the fighters that he targeted and all of them have one thing in common, they belong to the low weight category, whose top prizes Cejudo has held simultaneously (Bantamweight and Flyweight). However, on Saturday, the 33-year-old decided to up the ladder and mentioned the name of the No.1 ranked UFC Heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou.

Henry Cejudo Calls Out Francis Ngannou
Henry Cejudo took to Twitter to post an edited clip that features him and Francis Ngannou at an official face-off segment, which usually takes place before any UFC fight night. It wasn’t only the clip he shared, Cejudo also wrote a brief note for the predator.
“Yo Francis Ngannou you ready to bend the knee? Sign the contract.”

So, whether Cejudo intends to move to the Heavyweight division, or if this is a typical case of showboating, is a matter of vague nature. However, if hypothetically he enters the 206-pound weight class, then he might become the first UFC fighter to travel from the lowest to the highest weight scale.
