‘See why Klay Thompson stays hurt, it’s Karma’: Warriors star responds to Glen Davis’s distasteful comment over Rodney McGruder controversy
Warriors’ star Klay Thompson delivered Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis with a fiery response to his comments
The Golden State Warriors faced the Detroit Pistons on 30th January. The Warriors secured a comfortable 118-91 win. Klay Thompson was working as a commentator when Rodney McGruder confronted Juan Tuscano Anderson on the court, after the game. Klay stood up for his teammate and made some harsh remarks. He had said that McGruder might be out of the league soon and some more.

While Klay was backed by his teammate Draymond, there were others who found his comments to be unprofessional. That list included Rodney’s teammate Wayne Ellington, whose post was also liked by Kevin Durant.
Klay Thompson responds to Glen Davis’ comment
Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis, a former NBA player, was last seen playing for St. John’s Edge of the National Basketball League of Canada. Big Baby took a very cheap shot at Klay when he reacted to an Instagram post that shared Klay’s statement. He there said, “saying sh*t like that, I see why he stay hurt.. Karma.”
This statement did not sit right with Klay. He took it to his Instagram stories to reply to ‘Big Baby’.
“Dang Big Baby this what we on now!?,” Thompson wrote. “I can’t wait til I see you on the court next year I’m calling iso every time. Prolly get 40 in a qtr with big fella chasing me.”

While Klay can easily do what he said, the possibility of the same happening is very low. Glen Davis has not played in the NBA since the 2014-15 season, and the chances of him making a comeback are very low. One would expect better from former players though, and not expect them to make such insensitive remarks.
