The last time these two nations locked horns against each other in this format was in 2018 when Bangladesh had secured a 2-0 victory. As far as the overall Test record between Bangladesh and West Indies is concerned, Bangladesh have won only four Tests against West Indies as compared to their 10 victories in 16 Tests.

As was the case during the recently concluded three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and West Indies, the two-match Test series will also not be available on television channels in India.
