“Bullsh*t. That was Kansas City’s bullsh*t.”: Bruce Arians Fires Shot At Kansas City Chiefs During Super Bowl Parade
The Buccaneers had a lot of fun (with alcohol) at their makeshift Super Bowl Parade-maybe a little too much. Their head coach, Bruce Arians, was no exception.
From a sloshed Tom Brady throwing the Lombardi off a boat to his tight end to Antoine Winfield refusing to put down the peace signs, the Bucs’ parade was one for the record books.
The most impressive pitch and catch of @TomBrady‘s career 🤯🏆

With the help of some Tequila (probably a lot of it), fans got to see some of these priceless moments. But one which went under the radar, was head coach Bruce Arians calling out the runner-ups Chiefs.
Bruce Arians And Other Executives Believe Buccaneers Can Repeat
Bruce Arians: Anybody who says, “Run it back.” Bullshit. That was Kansas City’s bullshit. We going for two. We ain’t stopping. We’re going to keep this band together.

Bruce Arians speech: “Run it back”? Bullshit. That was Kansas City’s bullshit. We going for two. We bringing everybody back. We’re going to keep this band together, and they know how to win.

As the video shows, Arians hilariously declared his belief that his team can win another ring. In the process he also threw some not-so-subtle shade at his Super Bowl LV opponents saying, “Anybody who says, ‘Run it back’ – bullsh*t.”
“That was Kansas City’s bullsh*t. We going for two. We going for two, and we ain’t stopping, alright? We’re going to keep this band together, and they know how to win.”
After this, DT Vita Vea showered his coach with Gatorade and the local news channel cut the broadcast, likely due to Arians’ colorful language. Arians also praised his players and coaching staff, saying that he owes the Super Bowl win solely to them.
Although Arians undeniably played an important role in the Super Bowl run, he makes an excellent point about this team’s potential. They’re beyond stacked on offense and their defense is arguably even better.
Led by Todd Bowles and a relatively young core, their defense managed to hold the Chiefs’ explosive offense to 9 points in the biggest game of the season.
As they say, “defense wins championships”, and this year’s squad was the embodiment of that. Bucs GM Jason Licht also shared similar sentiments with his head coach.
“The owners – the Glazer family – they’ve given us the resources to keep all of you guys together, and to keep you next year,” he said at the same parade. “And we’re gonna f—— win this thing again, alright?”
