“Winning feels different”: Bradley Beal pithily describes his feelings after beating LeBron James and the Lakers at the Staples Center

Bradley Beal expressed his relief at the Wizards streaking with 5 wins, saying it ‘definitely feels different’ from the other feeling.

On Monday night, the Lakers hosted the Bradley Beal-led Washington Wizards. After a thrilling overtime match, the Lakers lose 127-124 to lose their third straight game.

What was more hurtful to see was the way the game ended for the Lakers. With nearly 6 seconds left on the game clock, King James took a three-point shot to tie the game and send it into overtime.

The shot came up short but luckily fell in the hands of Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma again attempted a difficult three-pointer with barely 2 seconds left.

‘Winning feels different’: Bradley Beal feels elated to have a five-game winning streak

While the Lakers side would be devastated with the loss, the Wizards would be rejoicing their victory. The tandem of Westbrook and Beal led Washington to victory over the defending champions.

The former MVP Westbrook had a near triple-double with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists. While Bradley Beal continues to show his brilliant performance, scoring 33 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and giving out 6 assists.

When Beal was asked how it felt to have a five-game winning streak, he gave a sarcastic answer by saying ‘different’. Beal also added:

“Different. It feels different in a great way. It feels great at the same time we still haven’t done a damn thing. We’re still hungry for more. We still have games to make up, still have bad habits which we got to correct and be better at. But, you never negate the success that we do have. So, happy about it but at the same time have a humble-like approach.”

LeBron would be thirsty to bounce back and snap their three-game losing streak. The Lakers now have the second-best record (22-10) in the league, only behind the Jazz, who they face on Wednesday. LeBron-led Lakers would be determined to win, but are in for yet another tough battle.
