The former World Heavyweight Champion is an impressive signing. To some fans however, this may be a little underwhelming considering the names that were discussed earlier. Fans had speculated the likes of Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Dave Batista and CM Punk and while Christian is just as good and even better than some of them as a wrestler, he does not have the same name value as anyone else on that list.
Regardless, this is a massive signing for AEW who now have a reliable and extremely talented workhorse with experience on their hands.
