WATCH: MS Dhoni scores a majestic free kick for the All Stars in the Celebrity Classico
After the washed out 3rd T20, cricket fans were itching to see their favourite stars in action again, and the ‘Celebrity Classico’ emerged as the messiah, bringing Bollywood and Cricket under one roof at the Andheri Sports Complex, much to the joy of fans(Bollywood and Cricket ) around the country.
Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have often expressed their love for the ‘beautiful game’, indulging in football practice sessions every now and then even during training for a game of cricket.
Bollywood Stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bacchchan(if you consider him a star) have invested heavily in ISL clubs and have been very vocal about their love for football.
And with the Indian government and sports ministry working tirelessly to promote the game in India, it is heartening to see celebrities from India trying their best to promote the game amongst the masses.
MS Dhoni, whose love for football(and goalkeeping) has been well documented amazed everyone with his football skills, pulling off skills in midfield and then scoring a fabulous free kick to give the ‘All Hearts’ a 2-0 lead(he had scored the first one).
