“I can see why LeBron James loves Talen Horton-Tucker, he can’t shoot either”: Skip Bayless takes a double swipe at 2 Lakers despite their blowout win over the Nets
Skip Bayless roasts LeBron James indirectly through his fellow Los Ageles Lakers teammate Talen Horton-Tucker on Twitter.
LeBron James has been out for a long time this season. The arguable goat aggravated a more minor ankle injury which he suffered early on, which later resulted in a high ankle sprain. Since then, the LA Lakers have found it increasingly difficult to win games, which has caused them to drop to 5th in the West.

Recently though, the franchise pulled off a massive win against the dominant Brooklyn Nets, and somehow it wasn’t even close. Despite both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant playing, the game ended with a score of 126-101.
But it seems the infamous NBA analyst could only see the faults in the team, as he roasted both LeBron James and Talen Horton-Tucker after the game on Twitter.
Skip Bayless rips into LeBron James and Talen Horton-Tucker with uncalled for comment
The LA Lakers may have had an incredible game as a whole, but the same can’t be said for Talen Horton-Tucker on the offensive end. Defensively, the player did his part very well. But, when it came to scoring for himself, the 20-year-old just couldn’t get it going.
In 34 minutes played, the player only had 14 points, 4 of 16 shooting from the field, which calks up to just 25%. And this little stat line it seems has caught the attention of Skip Bayless.
I can see why LeBron loves THT (other than he’s a client). THT can’t shoot, either.

Not only is this comment completely uncalled for, but it is just completely incorrect. Before his injury, LeBron James was averaging 51.3% from the field, and 36.8% from beyond the arc on high volume. Needless to say, those aren’t the numbers of someone who can’t shoot.
Talen Horton-Tucker also did show the potential to have a jumper early on this season. But, we’ll have to see if that was a sign of things to come or just a hot streak and nothing more.
Overall, though, Skip Bayless may want to start being more careful about what he puts out on social media. Or at least get his facts straight before his credibility as an ‘analyst’ starts to come into question.
